'Dey Dere' is a hit no doubt and is rated one of the best R and B songs to come out of Nigeria. After a little break during which he got signed into a huge record label called Serengeti, Hakym the dream bounced back to the industry with Scoobi doo and Scoobi doo remix in which he featured Eldee the Don with 2011 big brother winner Karen Igho on the video.

The song was and is still being rewarded with massive airplay. And now, Hakym is set for the TAKE OVER with this club banger: LAMBA. On 1 January 2012, Nigeria's federal government removed the fuel subsidy, an unpopular move confirmed in a statement by the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA).



The effect was immediate, price tags on petrol at filling stations nationwide went up from N65 to N140 and over. Struggling masses of oil rich Nigeria, angered by the added financial strain on their daily lives, took to the streets in cities across the country to demand the subsidy removal be reversed.

At exactly 6:00pm on Saturday, December 31st 2011, the New year’s Eve, Guztang, Gbenga Adenuga released  his hot single, a party track which he calls “See Them O!” on his website,  www.gbengaadenuga.com, radio airwaves across the nation and other social media, It is a three minutes fifty seconds long track, and you simply must catch the groove anytime its being played.

It’s almost six years since Gbenga Adenuga, undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s best when it comes to stage performances came out with any form of recording to meet the quest from his teeming follower-ship and fans based which are mostly young people.



In a chat with Gbenga, now Christened “Guztang” on why it took him that long, he says, he has been extremely busy and deeply involved with live shows, he runs a band of 14 workers and have travelled round

the world singing at social and corporate events and ceremonies. This he states could be a distraction from recording, though he says he has always been in and out of studio recording songs in the last 6 years and he must have recorded over 50 tracks in the said period

He is aware that the track will generate a lot of criticism as he is seen by many as a ‘church’ entity, so why a party track? He simply smiles and says He is no longer “religious” God has set me free.
