Controversial Actress Lindsay Lohan 'in talks' to play Elizabeth Taylor in a new movie

According to reports, Lindsay Lohan, who recently channeled Marilyn Monroe for her Playboy shoot last year, may be taking on another screen legend, Elizabeth Taylor.”

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan would play Taylor in the made-for-TV movie 'Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story', which will tell the tale of the tempestuous romance between one of Hollywood's most notorious couples. The project is set to be produced by Larry Thompson and is being written by Christopher Monger, according to Deadline.com.

If Lohan is cast, it will be her first acting role since starring in the movie 'Machete' in 2010. The 25-year-old actress has become more known for her off-screen antics, having spent time in jail and rehab recently.

     Lindsay Lohan was a child star with so much potential do to succeed in Hollywood.  She was doing was doing well up until 2006 when she had personal issues and health problems.  Lindsay was battling alcohol addiction and was surrounded by negative publicity from the media.  It was unfortunate how her career completely unraveled so quickly.  She is still young and with the right guidance, Lindsay can easily make a comeback sometime in the near future.
